What is Bora Coin?
Bora Coin is a liquid cryptocurrency that applies blockchain technology to be distributed into blockchain-based software and games. Bora Coin also provides independent space for content providers within its own platform. This provides independent transactions and stable data, enabling content providers to operate more reasonably.
It is also compatible to collaborate with multiple content providers within Bora Coin’s platform, enabling seamless idea sharing. Finally, the Bora Coin platform focuses on the speed and scalability of the traffic implementation so that content services can move actively.
Bora Coin has been incorporated as an affiliate of Kakao Games. Currently, dAPP implemented on the Bora Coin platform is mainly composed of gaming apps as shown in the picture below.

Who Invented Bora Coin?
Bora Coin was developed by Gyehan Song, CEO of Way2Bit Co., Ltd. Way2Bit conducts research on the blockchain industry and provides consulting services on blockchain-related platforms. Bora Coin was developed in collaboration with all of the development departments, such as systems, businesses, and live operations, that operated as a large-scale infrastructure.
CEO Gyehan Song is a graduate of Sogang University’s Department of Computer Engineering and has previously worked as the head of Samsung Electronics and Hangame Technology Division.
In June 2021, Way2bit Co., Ltd. was incorporated as an affiliate of Kakao Games Co., Ltd. Previously, in 2018, Kakao took control of the company by combining the stake invested in Way2Bit Co., Ltd. and further increasing its stake through the exercise of additional call options.
In the case of tokens used by Bora Coin, while it was issued as the first Ethereum-based ERC-20 as the standard, it has plans to be reissued as a Klaytn token (KCT) on November 1, 2021. By participating more closely in Kakao’s main blockchain project Klaytn, Bora Coin is working with Kakao’s help to build an aggressive blockchain ecosystem.
